The Center for Guardianship Excellence is the education component of the Massachusetts Guardianship Policy Institute providing education, training, and support to guardians, volunteers, family, and those in need of advance directives. The Center offers programs on the basics of guardianship; how to be a guardian; how to be a health care proxy and; the importance of advance directives.

2020 Colloquium on Guardianship Oversight
December 3 & 10, 2020
The 2020 Colloquium on Guardianship Oversight highlighted the range of guardianship oversight models being offered across the nation. The program featured panels of speakers in state leadership positions from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico as well as the National Center for State Courts and the American Bar Association’s Commission on Law and Aging, who offered insight into national trends in guardianship oversight, as well as direct experience with successful guardianship oversight tools.
